This entry is long overdue, about 2 weeks ago Christiana went on her first field trip to Adventure City in Buena Park! Talk about a super excited mommy (I can be a little dorky at times), this is another milestone for her. Why was I so excited? Her first trip means she is old enough to hang with the big kids. So of course I made sure to be there to partake in this joyous occasion.
She was such a trooper that day, she got on every ride without a fight and got mad when it was time to get off. Now my baby didn't do all the laughing and smiling on the rides likes kids do when they are having a good time, but she sure did keep pulling me in the direction to get back on or didn't want to get off (so I took that as a sign that she had fun). I was such a proud mommy; my 15 month old loves roller coasters. I also loved the fact that she wanted hang with the big boys. She loves loves playing with them and they like playing her. :O)
Like I said, Christiana was such a super trooper at Adventure City! They have this little petting zoo that we tried out and she didn't even get scared, can you believe that she actually wanted to touch the baby goats? Every now and then she did move closer to me when the goats ran a little too fast for her liking, but at least she didn't cry (she actually felt more comfortable trying to touch them while she was right next to me).
While we were there she was also had her first carousel ride. Yaaay! Overall it was a great day! I now see why parents bring strollers (even for the big kids), because Christiana was worn out by the end of the day! Heck so was I. Again I am such a proud mommy; she totally gets a gold star for the day and I am looking forward to her next trip. The only thing that I would do differently is bring an extra battery for my camera (my battery died about 1 hour into our trip); luckily cell phones have camera's or I would have been SUPER hot!
