After the major upsets at the mall when she wasn't able to roam free and when the woman lost her son at the festival of the books, I decided it was time to get a baby leash. I went on amazon.com and started my search for the most economical baby harness. The cheapest ones that I saw were of little monkeys and I didn't want Christiana to have a little monkey on her back. hahahaah! So I went with the little brown bear (it was only $12 with free shipping!). I figured I can add a little flower to match all her outfits. :O) One of my students asked me why I didn't get a pink one, I said it won't match all her outfits. :OP
Before I had Munchie I laughed at parents that had the baby leash, but once again I am eating my words. My momma laughed when I showed her the harness and asked "why did you buy that thing?". I told her so she can walk around when we go out. Weeell our first time using it was mothers day weekend. She liked the idea of having a backpack on but didn't like the idea of being restricted on how far she can move. Oh well, she'll either have to get used to it, hold my hand, or stay in the stroller; either way my baby girl will have to learn that she can't roam around whenever she wants (at least while we are out in public).
