     Babies are sooo funny, I just sit and watch Christiana with a huge smile.  Her new thing is climbing into her carseat and just hanging out there.  Her auntie Angel said, "It's like how guys have their recliner or spot that they kick it in."  That is sooo true!  Christiana will climb in play with whatever may be left in her chair, look around for something else, climb out to get a new toy, climb back in with her toy, and chill out.

Before she started climbing into her carseat she would "climb" into a disposal aluminum roasting pan.  Mind you I gave her the roasting pan for her to use as a drum, but she had a different use for the pan. :O)  Again I just sit and watch her and just smile.

     I know this is only going to lead to her trying to climb onto other things - the couch, table, counter, etc. Her auntie Shelly (daycare provider) told us that Christiana is trying to climb onto the book shelf! Ohhhh no!!! We just have to get ready & keep a close watch. She just wants to view the world from a different perspective. :O) My momma said that before my sister started walking she was climbing. It seems like Christiana is more comfortable with climbing than trying to stand & walk on her own. I'm okay with that; I know that when she is ready she will be comfortable with standing on her own. I mean she's only 10 months, she's where needs to be developmentally.
