Aaaaaand Action!

fake sneezing...chew, chew (that's how it sounds)

fake laughing
fake coughing...ehh ehh
I am totally becoming one( if not already one) of those parents that think everything their child do is cute & funny.  Lately Christiana has become a little actress;  she can sneeze, cough, and laugh on demand.  In all actuality I know it's an action/reaction thing, but I like to think of it as a start to her "acting" career.  :O)  This is how it goes.  She sneezes, we say "bless you", then she starts her fake sneezing (it kinda of sounds like she's saying "chew, chew") so we can keep saying bless you.  The same goes for her coughing.  She'll cough and we ask if she's okay and pat her back, then she starts her fake coughing (it kinda sounds like "ehh ehh").  Her fake laugh almost sounds like her fake cough, but she does that without us initiating it.  It's the cutest thing.

Now speaking of being an actress, my mother has been acting like she has been well to family and friends for the past few years.  When I tell people that my momma is in the hospital (going on 7 weeks now) they are surprised.  She has a way of hiding her ailments.  My momma hasn't been 100% for the past decade or more.  When they see her, she is smiling, laughing, just being her cheerful & sweet self; not the woman who has migraine's, nausea, & body aches on a daily basis.  Not the woman who has to take medicine for the rest of her life to prevent ailments from happening.  No one would know this unless they saw through her Oscar award winning acting.  No one knew the severity of her illness because she played it off sooo well.  I wonder if we would have put our foot down and told her to get checked out would any of this hospital ordeal have happened?  Who knows?  Only God knows.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
James 1:17
