Before Chrisitana was born my students loved her.  When I was pregnant I would update my students on her growth and development and bring the ultrasound pictures.  I was amazing how interested my students were about my doctors appointments, if I forgot to tell them about my appointment they would ask me how it went.  They also made cards while I was out on maternity leave & a few of my girls gave me a little baby shower. 

So it's no surpise when I would have MESA (our schools Saturday science program), parent conferences, and open houses that they are super excited to see & meet her.  Even my current students like hearing stories and see pictures of Munchie.  

Christiana has become a part of my schools family.  The students both past & current and even my coworkers ask if I'm bringing her to school.  She has fit right in.  Once she warms up to the crowd, she's playing with everyone.  During my parent conferences & open houses my students basically babysit her while I am talking to parents.  They just absolutely love her!
