Munchie Moments: Help me daddy!

Whenever Christiana has a runny nose of course we have to wipe it or ask her to blow it. 


Well that doesn't always work, so we have to  take out the big gun the "Nose Frida".  I'm always trying out new "mommy made" gadgets (thanks Nikki) and this snot sucker isn't as invasive as the regular ones.  Click the link to read up on it.

Like any child she hates getting her snot sucked.  She hates it so much she becomes a super strong toddler and puts up the biggest fight.  Sometimes, well actually most of the time, I have to put her in a wrestling position to hold her down to get the snot.  Just recently when I put her in a submission hold she's been calling for her daddy to help.  Hahaha! It's the sweetest thing.  When he's home he comes in and says "Mommy has to get the boogies Munch", she doesn't completely calm down but it's letting her know her daddy is there for her.  I love it!  Plus I think she prefers for daddy Teems to get her boogies because he's much gentler than me.  I get all in her nose to get as much as I can, plus she hates the submission hold.

After we get all the boogies, we show her the boogies and then she's satisfied.  Gross but cute.
