Today Christiana & I went to a baby shower and she totally made herself at home. If I would have let her, she would have walked all over their house.
Sooo what did mommy do? Mommy took baby outside to enjoy the fresh air. (My friend's house is lovely & they have tons of front & backyard space for their bundle of joy that's on the way.) Once we were outside Munchie didn't want to go back inside. She was walking all over the place, she even stopped to notice the beautiful flowers (she really loved the purple ones). Christiana also enjoyed sitting on their front porch & let her feet swing. She would climb up the stair, sit down, swing her feet, climb down, go for a little walk, and do it all over again.
Needless to say it's time for us to have a home of our own. We are very blessed to have a roof over our head & we know God will bless us with a home when He thinks we are ready so we just have to continue trusting in Him. I cannot wait to have a home of our own so Christiana can admire OUR flowers, let her feet swing on OUR porch, & run around in OUR yard. God we are ready when You are. :o). I'm not complaining or being ungrateful for our current blessings, sometimes we just need to be reminded of what we are working towards...thank you Jesus for what you have done & what You have in store for us!
it will come and when it does, the home will be better than you ever expected. it's better to wait for something good than to rush into something that's bad.
