Christiana is my little side kick and I enjoyed spending the extra time with her this summer. One of our mommy & munchie days I decided to packed a lunch, go to the park to eat our lunch, and then walked to get frozen yogurt. It was simple yet quality time well spent. I want to Christiana to grow up knowing that she can have a good time without spending tons of money.
I remember as a kid packing lunches and having lunch in our front yard and it was so much fun! One of the things that I remember most was packing our lunch for our little picnic. I would even pack lunches with my brother & sister and have a picnic with our neighborhood friends.
This generation of kids don't know how to have fun without spending tons of money and I don't want her to end up like that. That's not to say that she won't be able to experience the finer things in life, but I want her to appreciate the simple things and that her parents work hard for her to have nice things.
Oh I dress to match Munchie! Check out our orange shirts :O)
Gotta love it!
